The Nest
The Nest is a seperate entity from CloudSpark Venture Fund, however the Nest and all programs associated with The Nest will be facilitated solely by CSSF in the initial 9 months of operation. We envision The Nest to be a place that can provide startups with the necessary environment and resources that they need to succed. The Nest will be a place where individuals and teams can come to work, network, inform, learn and share experiences in the field of entrepreneurship.
In addition to providing space for startups, we also seek to activly educate by doing. One program we wish to implement immediately is a CloudSpark Filing Fair. This will be an event that we hold every two months of the year where we allow all individuals who wish to legally form and entity to get legal advice and filing advice, as well as get paperwork filled out and sent off so that legal entities can be formed.
One pre-requisite for obtaining the rates offered for team occupancy in The Nest is the establishment of a legal entity for the purposes of the conduct of business. We do not wish to design limitations and restriction into our system. That is why we want to provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to file for a legal entity at our Filing Fair.
In many cases startups may need acces to certain incentives or benefits that can only be attained by forming a legal entity. A lot of times seed capital firms and VC firms wont even look at an idea if there is no legal entity to speak of. Forming an entity signifies that you expect your enterprise to go somewhere. The last thing you want as an entrepreneur is to get to the springboard of success and be hampered by administrative and financial woes that could have been solved by proper organization of a legal entity.
This fits in line with our education goals, The Nest is all about nurturing and education, and that is why our number one administrative priority is developing a prestigous program with a strong mentoring and teaching aspect. We aim to develop and provide our members with as many resources as possible and that includes educational programs, seminars, exposure,and events.
We like for our members to be either socially conscious or tech oriented startups, however all startups are encouraged to explore what The Nest can offer them by submiting an application.
